**** John's Level II/III: Five Minute Freestanding Sirsasana
{P} Completion of previous level Pranayama
{A} Completion of one year of Asana
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE YOU COME TO CLASS:
Attire
There are changing rooms at each studio. Wear clothing you can move in (but no baggy clothes, please - they obscure alignment.) Bare feet are essential. No perfume. No heavy jewelry.
Food
Come to class with an empty stomach.
Special Physical Needs/Conditions
Be sure to let your teacher know about any injuries, physical problems or medical conditions so s/he can modify poses for you.
Please do not come to class if you have any contagious condition.
Be on time
Teachers begin each class with preparatory practices for what follows. It's unsafe (and disruptive) to come in late. (If late, please do not enter classroom until students have fully concluded beginning meditation/chanting of OM.) You may be turned away if you arrive after the start of class, or your space may be given away.
CHILDREN
We do not provide child care. Children may not be left unsupervised in reception areas while you attend class. (Please do not ask our receptionist to watch your child.) The minimum age for students is sixteen years.
