Nestled in the mountains near historic Berkeley Springs, West Virginia (the country’s first spa), Serendipity, our new Mountain Getaway and Retreat Center, offers everything needed to create a relaxing escape for your family or a few friends, a yoga group, or other retreat group. We are 1 ˝ hours from Dulles Airport and suburban Maryland. Come out and visit our private four bedroom home in the woods just 3 miles from “downtown” Berkeley. Our comfortable house sleeps nine people (no animals please), has an outdoor hot tub and an expansive deck overlooking the woods and pond. There is also a screened porch looking into acres of woods. We provide telephone service, cable TV, video and stereo. We can direct you to catering, massage, and other services.
Our fully equipped (chairs, mats, blankets, straps and blocks) yoga studio can accommodate 25 students. This room is adaptable for other types of workshops. On the main floor the living spaces can provide your group with several break-out room options.
Serendipity is available for yoga and other retreats, vacations and personal getaways. (See Below under RENTAL)

Our comfortable four bedroom, three bath house sleeps nine people, has a fully equipped yoga studio that will accommodate 25 students. We also have a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor hot tub, and an expansive deck for sunning and dining overlooking the pond . The house has a shady screened porch to cool off on while looking into the woods. We provide local telephone service, cable TV, video and stereo.
We suggest that you rent the beds, aside from the King Bedroom (which you may want to use), for $35-$75/night per person.
We provide one set of sheets and towels for each resident. There is a washer and dryer if needed, dishes and cooking utensils if you want to use the kitchen. The triple room on the ground floor has bunk beds and a single and a full shower bath. The studio, which accommodates 25 yoga students, is also on the ground floor. In the central area of the living floor there is a large area that includes the dining space with table seating for 6 or 8, a counter and barstools for 3, a living room area with TV, and stereo, and the spacious kitchen. At one end of this floor are two bedrooms (Queen bed & Twin beds) that share a tub/shower hall bath. At the other end is the large King bedroom with a private shower bath. Laundry room is on this floor behind the kitchen. There is a large screened porch facing into the woods and a large open wooden deck, with table and chairs & hot tub, on the front of the house, facing the pond. We are on 5 wooded acres, surrounded by more wooded acreage. It is delightfully quiet.
There is parking for 20 or so cars but we prefer that folks try to double up and reduce the local traffic.
